Michael Jackson's death certificate for sale

The Los Angeles Department for Health has put copies of 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson's death certificate on sale.

The document which was made public yesterday, can now be bought as a souvenir for just USD 11 dollars, reported Fox News.

The records office is likely to be swamped with requests, as the sale of Jackson memorabilia has become a profitable business since the sudden death of the pop icon on June 25 after a suspected cardiac arrest.

The release of the death certificate comes just hours after nearly a billion people worldwide watched his memorial service on TV.

On the certificate, Michael is described as a 50-year-old "musician" who worked in "entertainment". His race is listed as "black" and his marital status says "divorced".

The cause of death has been described as 'deferred' owing to the ongoing investigation into the role of drugs in the sudden demise of Jackson.

Earlier the golden programme book containing Michael Jackson's pictures and messages from his family, which was presented to the fans at the public memorial had become hot items on Internet auction sites.
