Hollywood superstar George Clooney is planning to shoot his upcoming film in L'Aquila, Italy, which was hit by an earthquake recently.
The actor hopes that the film project will help revivethe area's economy and bring some cheer to the local people.
The movie hunk, who owns a vacation home on the banks of Lake Como in Italy, visited the Italian city yesterday and thrilled locals with his film news, according to reports.
"We'll shoot a film here at the end of September, in which I will act," said Clooney.
The Michael Klayton star also met the homeless shattered by the earthquake in April, which killed more than 300 people.
