Finally strike to over soon?

On Wednesday May 27th night Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan attended the Producers Guild meeting along with the core members of the guild at Taj Lands End at Bandra Bandstand, Mumbai. Post the meeting, producer Mukesh Bhatt seems to have hinted at the strike getting over soon. The prolific producer has reportedly said, “You will get good news in two days”.

The meeting began around nine pm and went on for over three hours. The meeting saw in attendance Yash Chopra, the Bhatt brothers – Mukesh and Mahesh, Eros’s Sunil Lulla, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, BIG Pictures’ Amit Khanna and representatives of other top production houses. Our source present at the meeting revealed, Shah Rukh was more involved this time and attentively listened to BIG’s Amit Khanna who was explaining him the latest developments. Aamir was quieter and chipped in his bit in regular intervals. As soon as the meeting ended Aamir left before Shah Rukh Khan and avoided getting clicked together with the King Khan by present photographers at the venue.

There is a crucial meeting scheduled now either tonight or tomorrow between the producer’s guild core members and the seven multiplex owners. With Vashu Bhagnani also stating few days back that 9 out 10 issues have been resolved between the warring parties, a solution seems more likely through this meeting. If this happens then from Friday 5th June one can see big releases beginning in multiplexes all over the country with Vashu Bhagnani’s Kal Kissne Dekha being the first one.
